Lesson: Transportation Relevance

Lesson Overview

Shipments do not need to be planned for all business transactions. This is

controlled using transportation relevance, which is explained in the following

lesson.

Lesson Objectives

After completingthislesson, you will beable to:

• Set transportation relevance for delivery types, delivery item categories,

and routes.

Business Example

It is clear in your company at an early stage whether a shipment should be

organized for a delivery or not. For instance, no shipments are created for

over-the-countersales, for“outbounddeliveries”of services, nor attherequest

of the customer.
